Carb bashing is all the rage in a lot of circles these days, and it’s not uncommon to come across the phrase ‘fruit makes you fat’ when talking or reading about nutrition. The reasoning goes something like: Fruit has sugar, and sugar is the worst kind of carb, so fruit must be fattening!
