We went to a great contest last night hosted at Virginia State University! There was a good turnout in the crowd and some great posing routines on stage so it was a really good show. We went to cheer on a friend who was competing for his first time and to get a feel for how a show runs. Up until now I have only seen shows streamed online, and seeing as I’m 6 WEEKS OUT (yikes!) from my first time on stage, I thought it’d be a good idea to see how a show goes in person! I will go over some of my contest preparation soon, but it looks similar to phase 2 of my last pre-shoot plan. Anyway, the show was a lot of fun and there was even a female pro bodybuilder who guest posed before the awards were given! Check her out in the clip below:
